Ok. Cookies are baked for tomorrow's trips back and forth to the polls. I have 35 senior citizens to drive to and from. I know them all. I do this every election/primary. It's like having 35 backseat grandparents for eight solid hours.

Oddly, I love every minute of it.

@dancinyogi That's terrific. You are an inspiration. Maybe your story will encourage others to do the same?

Elon Musk is mocking the for returning to .

And you know what?

They deserve all the mockery in the world.

Few journalists have a spine. They keep kowtowing to Twitter even though Elon Musk loathes journalism, and openly voices disdain for it.

So of course, Elon Musk mocks the Press -- they don't stand up for themselves.

And quite frankly, if they're not willing to stand up for themselves, how can any of them hold Elon Musk accountable?

municipalities don't have resources to fight because "as of December 2021, $253 million in unpaid taxes had accrued. The RMA is particularly galled that the provincial government allowed companies to avoid municipal taxes on new wells drilled until 2025." https://theconversation.com/alberta-election-is-the-provinces-energy-regulator-acting-in-the-public-interest-204007

@Jgmeadows The problem is that what happens in Alberta doesn't stay there. Those of us downstream are having our watersheds polluted with their toxic crap; the destruction of their part of the boreal forest affects this whole ecosystem; and don't get me started on the wildfire smoke.

@Jgmeadows Exactly! But somehow the Alberta UCP and the Saskatchewan Party's sovereignty acts are based on that magical thinking.
