    @TomSwirly I've tried that before and it doesn't work for me, sadly, I've never got one thought stream, always at least 3, so even if I get the main one doing that the other two are... well, one is pointing and laughing and saying "what the fuck are you doing?" and the other is still worrying about the worries.

    I’m making some “fractions sensitivity training” warm up questions for grade five and six. Any particularly silly or subtle suggestions would be a big help. These are too boring.

    A. How is 15min like $0.25?
    B. How are three cat paws like 45min?
    C. How is 12min like holding up one finger on one hand? .. or like $0.20?
    D. How is one ant leg like 10 min?
    F. How is holding up four fingers on one hand like 48min? … or like 8 dimes?

    YES! far too often i would pour milk into tea (or, in fairness, coffee) and watch in disgust as little cream-coloured fluffy blobs would surface and bob around the top of the tea, no matter how much they were stirred in

    i no longer drink tea, and i can no longer tolerate milk, and i think this might have more to do with why than i tend to let on. i'm hypersensitive to off milk anyway (i seem to think it's off about 3 days before anyone else does - if i can smell it, i'm going to have problems with it) so you can imagine how much that turns my stomach

    @thamesynne oh an autistic GP would be the absolute dream. Or rather, a diagnosed and sympathetic one. I'm pretty sure that one of the ones at our survey is One Of Us but I'd eat my hat off he's got a diagnosis
