If you ever get the "offer" to work with 6, run. Run as fast as you can. There is nothing out there that is more of a developer nightmare than this pile of junk.

95% of my gray hair comes only from Shopware.

developers, sometimes when I run I receive 100s of errors (in my integration tests) that might only originate from 2 lines. Is there a way to consolidate these based on stack trace?

doesn't allow float as index in arrays.

It is possible to use them as such by casting them to string. Later, type juggling will allow adding to another float, seamlessly.

one thing, which might be misleading:

Order by <int> ASC makes NULL first

one could assume by this snippet, that the salesChannelId is an integer, but as all IDs in Shopware, it is a string/binary

While making my PHP packages compatible with Laravel 11 the last few weeks, I've also spent some time and added PHPStan to all of them.

The more simpler ones are already on level 9. The more complex are still on level 5 or 6. I'm still a novice when it comes to proper type documentation. Goal is to increase levels throughout the year.

Anyone having the problem of accidental wrong "use" statements like

use _PHPStan_156ee64ba\Symfony\Component\String\Exception\RuntimeException;

taken from prefixed-phar files, e.g. because of bad IDE autocompletion?

Wondering if there is a way to use @Xdebug within the rule... Breakpoints appear to be skipped although I know the script executes (and my Xdebug setup works from the CLI) ?

Today, I was cut in layoffs. I’m so gutted because I loved this company, & my team was the best; I’ll miss my team most.

Now, as I look ahead, I’m searching for a staff/principal role where I can help other developers level-up through mentoring, tooling/infra, architecture, & improving DX. I’d love to work with a company contributing to open source & even to the #PHP programming language itself.
