Some instance updates:

  • Reaction emojis now appear bigger on our Mastodon on the Moe domain as I felt they are a bit too small. Now they are 32 pixels
  • Edit function is now enabled on our Calckey instance. Now you can edit your posts like you can on Mastodon. Also, there should be more accessibility functions added.
  • Urusai Social is now part of our relay, which should help those who are looking for people to discuss Anime with and they already follow a good amount of users here already. All our posts from our Mastodon and Calckey servers will appear there too.
  • Our Calckey server will be in Open Beta on May 19th. For those who are Japanese media fans or create content around Japanese media (Blogging/Podcasting/Art/etc) and coming from Mastodon Social/Online, looking for a new place and willing to try our Calckey, Sakurajima.social is your place. You can import posts too, export your data first. before migrating.

@oceaniceternity @chikorita157 @sakurajima Relay services are nodes that will relay all public posts from other instances to your instance, or in some cases all posts of particular hashtags from a variety of instances. They're good for filling out the Federated timeline of small instances like mine.

Here is one for the true connoisseur. Thought maybe people like @janbeta or other retro enthusiasts would get a little chuckle out of my small weekend photo project made at @daslabor. Drew a little inspiration from some 80s perfume ads.

I am considering having stickers printed. Needs some work tho b/c the font does not lend itself well to small printing, as I learned from a small test batch.

BTW, this particular capacitor came out of an old lab centrifuge.
