I was just reminded of around twenty years ago when this guy who I knew on LiveJournal took extreme creative liberty and used the head from my LiveJournal profile pic and Photoshopped an image of me and sent it to me as a "gift" and I was just like "uhhhhhhhhhh...thank you?"

Overheard this guy telling someone he pickled himself in his 20s. I get that he just means he used to drink a lot but that's pretty disrespectful to people like me, who actually submerged myself in a sealed mason jar filled with a salty homemade brine and allowed myself to cure for several weeks until the pickling process was completed

Took this little idiot to an emergency vet visit and spent $400 because he was walking all shakey and kept tensing up and acting weird. Wouldn't eat or go to the bathroom all morning. Turns out literally nothing is wrong with him and he's probably just anxious 🤦 gotta love 'im. He's perfectly fine now

@ItsTrainingCatsAndDogs yeah that's true. I never would've forgave myself if something actually DID happen to my little guy. They told us to keep a close eye on him and recommended us to a bigger vet if it continues or gets worse but he's completely snapped back and he's acting normal now so far lol hoping it stays that way

I tried to give generative ai an honest chance with Arc Search. It's a really cool concept, you can have it "browse for you" where it pulls content from a few google results and builds a page full of information and lists sources. It's great at throwing sentences together and the ui is beautiful but it's still very wrong about most things most of the time lol it's so bad. It's all so bad. why is literally every tech company pushing this shit so much :yikes:
