Ok, I know integration, but I’m not thinking math enough

Would you care to explain why that would fit better?
I got the joke with the derivation, but can’t really see what you model with integration

I’m still searching for a politician that does something for the benefit of people and not just tries to get rich themselves or are on a power trip.

Any kind of political authority is about to fail over time

But we now Bearman gets a chance!
Go Oli! :-D

naeap,

Yeah, I’m so fucking hyped because of/for him
After just one training session landing on P11 is a very respectable result

Orban?
This fucker will give EU money to the walking brain dead?

Filled with water from where?

naeap,

Sounds pretty costly to bring all that up
But yeah, solid metal as heat transfer could work. Still how to drive a turbine?

What planes can fly them?

Edit: In the article it seems to only mention F16

How are the points calculated?
I only ever knew about comparing times regarding the fastest stop

Yeah, you’re not alone

Desperately tried to make sense of it…

Why Is Trump Trying to Make Ukraine Lose? The former president isn’t in office—but is still dictating U.S. policy. (www.theatlantic.com)

Donald Trump, who is not the president, is using a minority of Republicans to block aid to Ukraine, to undermine the actual president’s foreign policy, and to weaken American power and credibility.

naeap,
@naeap@sopuli.xyz avatar

Yeah, because it typically works that way, that just someone has to say something with courage and the weak president is too afraid to say something against it…

Link already deleted or is it just me?
I thought X is all about free speech and stuff?

Are there any Windows-exclusive programs you use?

I had to test/fix something at work and I set up a Windows VM because it was a bug specific to Windows users. Once I was done, I thought, “Maybe I should keep this VM for something.” but I couldn’t think of anything that wasn’t a game (which probably wouldn’t work well in a VM anyway) or some super specific enterprise...

Some industry hardware stuff sadly …

Datalogic DL.Code, Siemens TIA, etc.

If someone has a solution I’m all up for it.
Was some time ago, that I tried with wine, so maybe something has changed

And will also mean better tracking of phone users, as we have a better resolution with more towers

Which isn’t a good thing always at least…

From the video “but Europeans would rather buy a BYD than an American car”

Really? I’ve never seen a BYD in Europe, but Teslas are around every corner

Usually has a smell of the rest of some solvents (so think gasoline). But else it’s pretty much odourless

This project has quite some history

If I remember correctly it got phased out of a Nokia development and the developers still wanted the project to succeed after Nokia stopped the development.
So they made their own company and had done tries with crowdfunding and their own devices, and after some time they settled for licensing.

But sadly they got quite silent. I kinda celebrate every life sign from them, because I really like their concept

(Not sure about the history after all that time, so take that with a grain of salt)

Edit: oh, the article already talks about that… So my comment is mostly redundancy…

I think it just makes eye contact easier. I can see the reaction in the eyes of the other one(s), but they can’t really see mine. So they don’t see, when I emotionally react to something - at least not as much.

That’s were I thought the “confidence” comes from

naeap,
@naeap@sopuli.xyz avatar

Yeah, it has the typical star shape on the top, plumbuses get, when they turn to fossils

Tell that to my cat…

I need to rotate between different brands and flavours, and still it’s mostly luck, if he likes it.

At least he isn’t really food focused, so he isn’t whining. Still a sad sight to see premium food go to waste…

DAE find the attitude of most pet-owners to be more repulsive than that of most meat-eaters

I’m in a pretty vegan-friendly country with a long tradition of plant-based eating. Most people eat meat, but they are basically sympathetic to every meat-free argument: ethical, environmental, health. They sometimes do an awkward little shuffle & apologise for eating meat in front of me or say they’re part-time vegetarians...

I always had cats around me as a child and teenager, and always advocated against having a cat in an apartment, because I find it cruel.

But then an orange starving baby cat stumbled in my life and he’s more than happy to be with me - even after several apartment changes

I’m kinda with you that I find it strange, that people explicitly buy specific breeds just to lock them in their flats, but I’m also experiencing currently how grateful my cat is, to be with us.

So, I guess just like for people, animals want to have a friendly environment. And as long as it’s viable, this social factor seems to matter more than the perfect replication of natural environment

Edit: obviously also depends on the animal and how social it is

What version(s) of Windows are affected?

Didn’t hear it it - and seldomly booting my windows…

naeap,
@naeap@sopuli.xyz avatar

Hm… Yeah, I guess so
Sounds like a very cool experience you can’t really have else

Seeing the earth “rise” in the sunlight from a glass dome on the moon sounds actually really sweet

Disregarding all environmental effects and my probable lack of budget…
