it's cool that we live in a time where people have enough knowledge about space stuff to understand & predict things like eclipses & geomagnetic storms, and also that we have the ability to communicate instantly across the world, so we get to kinda experience celestial events with everyone else on the planet in real time

one thing about electric toothbrushes is you still have to go from tooth to tooth. they didn't automate all of it. why isn't it like a big thing you bite down on & it brushes all your teeth at once?? or a little robot arm that goes around & gets all the teeth carwash style. idk I just feel like this is an incomplete technology
every elected official should have mandatory dunk-tank / slime chair hours where a randomly selected constituent gets to vote yes or no whether to dunk/slime them & can opt to make an official public comment as to why they chose what they chose
