neidu2,

Chronologically I would rank it 5th. Would be 4th, if it wasn’t for the 2nd season.

neidu2, (edited )

A movie about two 80’s besties who get their evening ruined by a rude beefcake. Also, Kyle wins over Sarah by showing off his cooking expertise.

neidu2,

I need this one explained to me. Any takers?

neidu2,

Never heard of the dish, so I guess i’m excused. Also, that’s a navy uniform, not a generals uniform.

neidu2,

My two arguements for privacy:

  • I have nothing to hide, the same way I have nothing I want to put up for display.
  • What can be logged about me is trivial and benign. But I can’t trust that any future government/company/entity/social movement will also see it as benign and trivial. “Your honor, on april 1st, 2024, the defendant posted on the fediverse that Glitch McConnel deserves the garrote. This clearly shows insurgent behavior”
neidu2,

And if I use my down there to touch someone elses down there it feels even funnier

neidu2,

You have been assimilated, resistance was futile.

Seriously, though, I’m glad you’re with us. The more people we get to embrace alternative approaches, the more viable the open standards will be.

I don’t have an actual answer to your question, but imma use the opportunity to let my age show.

Seeing as we’re not on instagram or twitter, and seeing as this space is somewhat more techy than the average platform, could we please do tagging without precomiler instructions (or perl inline comments if that’s more your thing)?

“#” deserves better than being referred to as “the hash tag sign”.

neidu2,

Correct. Today I learned that putting it at the start of a line here makes it looks like you’re yelling random statements.

neidu2,

So, is the code in question using a publicly accessible API of theirs? If so it’d be a shame if something were to access that API more than anticipated…

The hens are obviously asking for cock, and the rooster is asking/yelling for chicks.

neidu2,

And the occasional “How you doin’ wink

At first, when people kept saying that I should watch Game of Thrones, I simply didn’t care. But as online chatter involved more and more “news” about the latest episodes I started actively avoiding it out of spite.

However, seeing the same people lose their shit over the last season gave me an emotional state that can only be described by this meme.

The only thing I hate more than having a TV show I like getting canceled out of the blue (Firefly, anyone?) is seeing it turn into garbage.

neidu2,

In the beginning I was determined to watch it eventually, I just didn’t have the time there and then. But hearing and reading about it everywhere I went made me sick of the show even without watching it. I like going into a show blind, knowing nothing about it, as I want to learn about the world building and every minutia in the tempo thendirectors intended. Watching GoT at that point would’ve taken the fun out of it for me. In general I have a pretty low bar for what I consider spoilers, that might be related.

neidu2,

I loved Westworld S1, but because of hearing mixed feelings about the remainding seasons I choose to believe that the series ended there.

neidu2,

Depends on what you mean by BSD.

If you mean literally BSD, then yes, it’s a direct UNIX decendant based on the same source tree. However, it’s been discontinued 30 years ago.

If you mean one of the *BSDs (Freebsd, netbsd, openbsd), then the relationship is more similar to that of linux, although there is still actual BSD code involved.

neidu2,

Ask your significant other if he/she pooped on the floor. If not, it was most likely the cat.

neidu2,

I don’t really understand who their target audience is. They would’ve been conservative 20 years ago, but today I think they just cater to saying whatever middleclass boomers want to hear.

neidu2,

Lemmino did a very thorough video on this myth. I highly recommend checking it out.

I especially enjoy that the original authors name is an anagram that strikes me as too fitting to be a coincidence.

Don’t worry. Thanks to Ground News I’m up speed on royal rectal insertions. For only the price of a cup of coffee you too can get instant and unbiased updates on the Kussy.

EDIT: Yes, that means “King’s boy pussy”

neidu2,

I choose to believe you’re reacting to the advert for Ground News and not the allusions to royal rogering.

Why do people depend on articles too much ?

Like the author could be wrong, partial or just didnt do enough research . Linking an articles isn’t proof that you are right even if it is from trusted sites though most of the time it is from sites like shiteater.com. This is the reasons why i enjoy platforms like lemmy so we can see who is giving false information and...

neidu2,

Shiteater.com is safe-ish. It’s a domain that has been parked with an advertising platform.

I know him, and you are indeed correct: He’s both, as well as other traits common in the right-wing shitmosphere.
