Hello there!

Thank you for the bombastic quantity of funny hashtags I found here, and for being such a great community. I found beautiful people and great music shared by everyone everyday.

Now, there are some stuff in my life that need my almost complete attention. That's why I decided to take a hiatus, for a while. Two weeks will do the trick.

I was thinking about the today theme of #ThursdayFiveList .

When I started this, the inspiration triggered from a song I was listening this morning, "The Smoke Of Many Fires" by Be'lakor, precisely. So I thought: "why not?"

Despite the fact that I'm an avid metal music listener, I always tend to choose themes as broad as possible, so every kind of music could be suitable. After all, one thing that makes music beautiful is to know ways to interpret sound that are unknown to us.

This morning, during our weekly grocery shopping, I thought that the hypermarket radio went crazy.

After so many annoying pop ear worms, suddenly "Diamond Eyes" by Deftones erupted, before returning to pesky Italian pop.

It was an appreciated deviation and made a somewhat neutral day into a better one, for me and my wife.

They are called Gli Alberi ("The Trees"). This is a concept album about the climbing of Nanga Parbat by the two Messner brothers, where the younger one, Günther, died.
