I like the look of the Daylight tablet a lot. It’s very expensive, but it is intriguing. I do not like the marketing that describes it as a “healthier” computer, non-addictive, “for your wellbeing”. https://daylightcomputer.com
My timeline is a constant stream of Google serving up artificial “intelligence” answers ranging from the absurd to the hostile and dangerous. Completely embarrassing from the company literally synonymous with searching the web.
Sometimes I check in on a crank site called Reclaim the Net because its dishonesty is kind of funny.
In this story, they say the Canadian government is pushing an age verification bill with a giant photo of Justin Trudeau. Yet the bill was introduced by the independent Senate, was first read in the House of Commons by a member of the opposition Conservative party, and has been repeatedly rejected by the Liberal party including Trudeau himself. This is barely mentioned in the Reclaim post.
But a low-res photo of Trudeau looks scary, so it’s better to just run with it.
Entire salaries are somehow propped up by ads that say things like “hang three pennies in a bag to learn the secret to good gut health” and “here’s why I keep a tactical onion on my belt”. https://saturation.social/@clive/112457235366176250
I found this substance at the grocery store marked “gelatine halal sheets (vegetarian)” with no other information. They are transparent yellow-tinted thin sheets that are hard to snap and shatter a little when you do. I’ve dissolved about 10–15 grams in about 200 grams of stock and they do seem to be thickening it a little when left to cool. Any idea what this could be other than the gelatine I suspect it is?
He really doesn’t get it, does he? He really doesn’t see why specific people got access and didn’t post things in their fuller context. What a big dummy.
