@trezzer @empire Most people are generally honest or even proud about their identity so it’s not exactly true that we know nothing about their race, gender or sexuality or nationality or disabilities or whatever on social media. And I have certainly seen abusive behavior here and elsewhere, though Mastodon seems to have tools to deal with that sort of thing. Having to experience it can’t be pleasant.
