Update on long USB-C cable journey: bought this 15-foot one per recommendations and it's been awesome, not too thick, charges great (only loses 3W versus a 3 ft cable when charging at 100W)

@christianselig I have used these as my long USB-C cables for a few years and they have been great

@256 Spent a bunch of my high school graduation money on one of these, then took it to college and never used it because Ethernet was better for transporting files and CD burners were better for backups

@nixCraft I recently switched back to Firefox on macOS and Windows for the first time in years and have been pleasantly surprised at how good it is on both platforms.

One of the advantages of using Reminders is the immediate, system-wide capture with Siri on iPhone, Apple Watch, HomePod, and more.

I wanted to replicate that with @things.

Here's how I used my Mac mini server, Shortcuts, and Lingon X to set up an automation that does it for me: https://club.macstories.net/posts/automation-academy-a-better-way-to-import-reminders-in-things-using-lingon-x-for-mac

@exchgr @viticci @things Using the “in things” prefix with Siri is how I have been doing universal capture into Things, even from my Apple Watch.

It also works well for specifying times like “today” or “this evening” if you want to place items directly in your Today list rather than the Inbox.
