Part of me deeply wishes I had enough money for a new avatar, I've been using this one since before COVID and I feel like I've changed enough since then to feel like I need a new avatar

Another part of me realizes I have ample art that I could make an avatar and I don't need to spend money

And then a third part of me loves this avatar so much and doesn't want to replace it lmao

For the pauper players out there, can anyone help me find a deck to play?

I like engine-focused combo decks like storm or grinding station, and aggressive tempo-centric decks like arclight phoenix or prowess decks, and especially decks that combine the two somewhat. What decks would interest me?

I'm trying to help my partner repair their Gen 2 with Connection and we're running into an issue with the battery terminal and I'd love some help/advice for how to make the retention bracket more stable since it's kind of flattened with time and doesnt put adequate pressure on the battery proper

I have a job right now but it's not something I really see baring fruit long-term so I'd like to start moving in a more productive direction

I finally got there, I'm the #1 strikes willbender on wingman :)

Wingman DPS leaderboards don't really mean anything, but I'll be damned if it doesn't feel good to set a goal for something and then actually get it.

the most baffling thing to me about bluesky isn't that it's technology is inherently worse than mastodon's, or even an issue with jack dorsey or the other leadership on board personally (I have issues with them obviously, but that's not my core issue with the service)

it's. twitter was never good. or at least, hasn't been for as long as it's been "the public square" or whatever the fuck. And bluesky's WHOLE selling point is "twitter, but again". Why do people think literally anything will be different? If Bluesky hasn't even gone out of its way to distinguish itself from twitter, why do we think things will suddenly go better?

mastodon being smaller isn't a bug, it's a feature. I WANT content creators I enjoy over here. I WANT my friends over here. I WANT more people to be using mastodon. But, by the very nature of federation, it is a smaller experience. That curation is GOOD.

I wish discoverability were a bit better on mastodon, but realistically that's not where I find most people on social media anyway. I find cool people, then follow them over here. Or cool people I know show me stuff. Organic discoverability by word-of-mouth is more sustainable anyway

lrt im reminded of the time this kid on a tf2 trade server was annoying me and my friends by not shutting up and just being a general nuisance so i told him that you could turn on aim assist on TF2 by opening the console and typing "unbin dall" no space, so he typed unbind all and immediately we could just see him spinning, unable to move in his spawn LOL
