“Using previous assessments from the Scottish Government, the report authors calculated that Scotland could export up to 94 twh of green hydrogen to European markets by 2045”
But the article says that
“It is noted in the NZTC’s report that the private sector would foot the majority of the bill for the Hydrogen Backbone Link.”

"Oil and gas supermajors including Shell and BP are using UK influencers to push false solutions to the climate crisis and manufacture a more family friendly image, DeSmog can reveal."
@zleap I believe you have to state if something is an advert on social media however influencers jobs are to influence. So even if they do state it people may follow along because the person has good credit, well known, lots of followers etc.
"Scientists have found a way to make paracetamol and ibuprofen from pine trees instead of oil – paving the way for a new generation of environmentally-friendly drugs."
@NatureMC The answers to medicine are out there, more the reason to protect it as plants may have undiscovered benefits. Foxglove (Digitalis purpurea) is another example of plants having benefits when medically synthesised.
@NatureMC I was not aware that some modern medicines are made from oil. It is great to see medicine is going back to its former days of how it was made, it is a shame production changed once.
"By 2050, the practice of using renewable energy to electrolyze water and create hydrogen fuel could become a global market of well over $1 trillion, according to a new report by Deloitte."
