Assume all the potential Biden voters vote by mail or early voting, and all the potential Trump voters go to the polls. If RFK drops out of the race on Nov. 1st, all of his would be Biden voters will have voted for him, while the would be Trump voters will have to vote for Trump.

Now, it is not cut and dry like that, but just wait, he will drop out and endorse Trump right before the election and people will call him dumb, because early votes have already been sent in.

randon31415,

Because RFK is just in it for the attention, and if he gets to be kingmaker to a Trump dictatorship, his ego will be stroked even more.

randon31415,

I literally said that was a stretch that “all”, but MORE Biden voters will vote by mail then Trump voters, and MORE Trump voters will vote in person then Biden voters - as was the case in 2020

randon31415,

I am just wondering if they are referring to citivai, which tries really hard to be seen as an art and base model/lora site.

Earlier this year, SiegedSec claimed to have hacked the River Valley Church of Burnsville, Minnesota — and to have spent $6,200 in church funds to purchase 100 inflatable sea lions

I would have forced them to spend $100 on as many shelters and food kitchens that they could find, and then see if River Valley would try to do a charge back on each one.

randon31415,

Forget Satanists. Just wait until you start getting Muslim Chaplains.

randon31415,

If this passes, and Biden wins (which means dems win the house and the senate has enough proukrane Republicans to pass stuff), they will be armed until 2026. At the present rate, Russia will surpass 1 million troop losses before the 2026 midterm elections.

The article: Adobe did a thing. It was AI. AI looks real. Fin.

Are those two paragraphs the entire article? Or is there more buried under the ads?

Georgia beach town, Tybee Island, trying to curb Orange Crush, large annual gathering of Black college students (www.cbsnews.com)

Thousands of Black college students expected this weekend for an annual spring bash at Georgia’s largest public beach will be greeted by dozens of extra police officers and barricades closing off neighborhood streets. While the beach will remain open, officials are blocking access to nearby parking....

randon31415,

… as opposed to Black Crush, the annual gathering of MAGA students.

randon31415,

Obama did the opposite: giving money to down ballot democrats because it would make his job easier. Is Biden doing that this time around?

randon31415,

Every politcian: So how do we funnel this money to kill foreigners while profiting by taking kickbacks from weapon manufacturers?

randon31415,

Strangely, the only poly people I seem to come across are bi-guy in relationship with woman and female-to-male trans-man. I know other polycule types exist, but for that type, to paraphrases Rick Sanchez: “That just sounds like polygamy with extra (accepting) steps.”

randon31415,

He knows the pain of loosing a child, why is he supporting something that is causing 10s of thousands of parents to loose their children?

randon31415,

One of the promises I wish he would have kept. Back when presidents actually did some of the things they promised.

With the Texas class disaster, they create a “Arizona Class” ship which is partially automated. The lower decks group becomes the bridge crew - and the only crew on the ship. They think they are in charge, but the computer and a shadowy group of scientists are actually pulling all the strings. Can they prove that they are the real ones in charge?

randon31415,

Biden is better than Trump because he (occasionally) listens to what the voters want. Trump tells his followers what they should support, not the other way around.

This also means that people trying to tell Biden to change course sound like Trump supporters to people that believe politicians never listen.

randon31415,

was motivated to run several years ago when he was told that his energy rates would nearly triple since he installed rooftop solar on his home. “I couldn’t believe it, the nearby ASP [Arizona Public Service] district has more than triple the amount of rooftop solar. Higher rates are a complete disincentive to getting solar power. We need new leadership on the board.”

I’m trying to parse this.

I know HIS rates tripled. Did they triple BECAUSE he installed rooftop solar? Maybe because he wouldn’t use as much, they raised his rates instead of just charging the correct amount to connect to the grid. That would make “Higher rates are a complete disincentive to getting solar power” make sense.

But, it also sounds like he installed solar, and later ALL RATES TRIPLED; which is more likely. However, if I didn’t have solar and my rates were increasing, the time to pay back on solar would decrease. Thus, higher rates incentivize a move to solar, opposite of what he is saying.

randon31415,

This sounds like that Simpsons episode where the school board votes down the “free recharging of fire extinguishers”. They aren’t even saying that their might be problems with floride, they just want choice for the option of choices sake. What is next, freedom to push your children into traffic?

randon31415,

I’ve seen lots of pictures of Hong Kong protests, and hear about rent protests in Beijing, but haven’t seen many photos like this in Beijing proper in the 21st century. Are they that good at scrubbing the web, or did I just miss them?

randon31415,

Yes, that would be the 20th century.

randon31415,

A bit off topic, but there is going to be a lot of AI anachronism that legacy universe sci-fi writers are going to have to deal with. How come in 2024 we have LLMs, but (insert previously tech coherent universe here) in (future date) is doesn’t have/ is just now discovering AI?

randon31415,

I was surprised that the killing of Iran’s defense secretary, and Iran blowing up buildings on us bases in retaliation back during Trump didn’t trigger something. Weird thought: Trump didn’t retaliate after that, so if Biden does, does that make Biden more a warmonger than Trump?
