If you are against a child taking a puberty suppressing drug they want to take at age 10, but are ok with tearing off the genitals (not circumcision, the whole thing) of a day old baby, you aren’t against transition, you are against children’s autonomy.
If the census was just to determine house and electoral vote distribution, I would say go for it! The states with higher number of non-citizens are normally represented by Republicans. If they want to decrease their power, great!
However, the census is also used for funding allocation for things that help noncitizens. Not counting them would screw up that.

America is a NET EXPORTER of oil. I know they weren’t back in the 70s when all the current American politicians learned about where oil came from, but we are now. Every refinery that blows up HELPS America’s economy - it just hurts consumers because big oil thinks they can pretend that oil prices jumping by 5% means they can hike gas prices by 100%.

I’m not sure this counts as a single shot, but I’ve always felt that I could fix “Raya and the last dragon” with one flashback right after Sisu shows Raya her petrified brothers and sisters.

Trump: Threatens mass deportation and actually does child kidnapping. Courts: Stops him. Trump: Starts “apply on your side” asylum policy. Biden: Keeps policy.
Trump: Threatens to build giant wall. Steals money from the military to build it. Courts: Stops him. Trump: Builds a smaller wall through a butterfly sanctuary. Biden: Keeps building the smaller wall.

I think what latinos see is Biden is just what Trump would be like if he checked first with the courts before doing anti-Latino stuff. Biden needs to do PRO-latino stuff, not just try to stop anti-latino stuff.
If funds are allocated to an executive controlled department, he can have a say on how they are spent, as long as the funding purpose wasn’t stipulated by congress. If prior executive controlled funding decisions were set in stone, Trump could have stipulated contruction of a golden statue of Biden holding a sign saying “I stole the election” on his last day and Biden would be powerless to stop the contruction.
So, if the ‘global elite’ are not the 1%, and as seen from this whole Gaza thing, they are not ‘the jews’ (which is what I though Republicans were always coyly referring to when they used that term), who the heck do the Republicans think the ‘Global Elite’ are?
