Deer deliver in the strangest of places! If you find a fawn in your yard, leave it alone, do not touch, move or feed it. They have no scent and predators cannot find them unless humans interfere. Mom leaves during the day for 2 primary reasons: to feed, and to keep her scent away. Mom will return, but not until dusk and not if humans are around. If you discover the gift of a fawn enjoy the experience, and let the Mom do what comes naturally. Please share, thank you. #wildlife
@jonoabroad I really should set up off-site for my server. I have many things cloud synched but still a too-large amount of data where my house fire plan is to grab the backup drive and go.
logged on to #BlueSkySocial and sure seems to me what people actually want is just twitter as it actually was in their minds. They don’t want to think about the ownership or political implications or anything other than if their influencers are on there being funny and sarcastic. Broke my heart to see JORTS just embracing it but alas the app would not let respond
@seachanger I'm all for MegaDouche eating a bag of dicks, but really not interested in yet another almost-certain-to-fail centralized social platform. We've had enough Musks & Zucks to know how it goes. I want the future to be the fediverse.
