Following this up with more tips for white folks, since words without action are useless.

  • Change your behavior as you unlearn Whiteness. Internalize that shit.

  • Don’t get defensive when called out for racism. Use it as a learning opportunity to change your words and behavior to be more in line with your stated antiracist values.

  • If a PoC comes at you heated, empathize with their anger and look past to the pain being expressed of living under White Supremacy

If someone is into astrology (I am a bit), and you just can’t get there: that’s fine.

But here’s a different perspective to consider:

The person is telling you that traits associated with their sign and birth chart speak to them. These are traits they value.

They are communicating to you someone about themselves, if you’re willing to listen.

Believing in astrology is irrelevant.
