I’ve known this for awhile: the reason Twitter funded Bluesky is because they were sick and tired of being held liable for all the kinds of crap that gets posted to their platform.

Twitter no longer wanted to be in the publishing business. They wanted to be in the algorithm business.

How to do this? Force people to host their own content.

John Williams at the Hollywood Bowl - July 7-9, 2023

The legendary composer and conductor John Williams will be conducting with Gustavo Dudamel and the Los Angeles Philharmonic at the iconic Hollywood Bowl , July 7th through the 9th. If you are in Southern California or anywhere for that matter, I highly recommend going if you haven't before or in a while. JW conducts many of his hits and Star Wars fans always show up in force.

@dani Yes the Logitech 720, currently $25 on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Desktop-Widescreen-Calling-Recording/dp/B004FHO5Y6/. Works great. Plug and play on Linux. I use it all the time for meetings on Teams. Has worked on Linux Mint, Kubuntu, OpenSuse, Garuda Linux
