I spent most of the last two days playing Star Wars Battlefront (2015 and 2017). The multiplayer experience with both is very good and these games really put the player inside the movies. It’s a shame that the Rogue One expansion for the 2015 Battlefront has no one online, because I remember that the missions were very good and immersive. Is there anyone here who plays these games on PlayStation?

A year ago today, I took the plunge and set myself up on . I'd been a pretty heavy user of -- and before that. I can't recall precisely which particular set of shenanigans from brought me here, but here I am, some 4K posts later.

I'm not sure it feels like home yet, but it does feel very comfortable. Nice to have have the chance to meet all y'all.

Got out and around for tonight with a friend of mine for the first field test of the gear - got a lot of waves from the ladies so clearly the girls love the bad boys. Wore it for about 2 hours, so a few observations:

  • Getting in or out of a car without assistance is impossible

  • Armor pinches quite a bit

  • Upper back strain started about 90 minutes in

  • Headache from visegrip helmet foam started about 105 minutes in

Still lots of fun!

120 kids came through by the house this evening and there was only one Jedi. It happened to be Ahsoka, too! Kudos to that kid’s parents. I think she’s going to grow up just fine.

@ai6yr Cool in theory but it seems like the whole TLD is premium and costs $$$$-$$$$$$ to purchase and renew most things unless you like a random string of letters and numbers. Seems probably only like major brands will get these or someone who just wants to burn some money heh heh

@reiver I know some have a problem with Soapbox because of the creator, in a similar fashion to the Lemmy developers, and they cannot separate the opinions and their behavior from the software which one can use for oneself on a separate instance. I guess this is similar to that other big place and that other guy but i guess the main difference is decentralization and one can use/alter the software and in the other case one is locked in to whatever the person deems at a whim
