Heute wieder in sonem Restaurant gewesen, wo sich am Ende rausstellte “Kein Bargeld, nur Karte, steht doch an der Türe!1” und wenig später “nee AMEX nehmen wir nicht”. Wasn Kindergarten. Wie kann man bitte so bräsig sein? Sind sind so Leute einfach nur unterreflektiert oder bewusst hässig? Junge Junge…

@MonaApp Hi, may I drop a feature request?

I prefer to have a particular list as my daily „Home“ view (first tab). The second tab is the default full Home timeline. However, I don’t need the little dot on this tab, since I rarely switch there anywhere. It just distracts me. So I’d love to control this somehow for every tab.

@chrismarquardt @redknight @_holger Ich habe mittlerweile den Verdacht, dass mein jahrelanges(!) Podcasthören mit 1,1er oder 1,2er Speed und Castros „Trim Silence“ dazu geführt haben, dass ich selbst ein relatives hohes Sprechtempo mit wenig Pausen entwickelt habe. 🤔
Versuch es jetzt bei Overcast mal ohne die „Smart Speed“ Funktion und maximal auf 1,1. Fühlt sich anfangs merkwürdig langsam an, ist aber irgendwie auch Balsam für das oft eh schon völlig überreizte Hirn.

@bleeptrack Bei uns bietet der lokale Entsorger Container per Onlineshop an. Das hat sich aber als ziemlich teuer und unflexibel herausgestellt.

Hast du mal versucht, kleine Containerdienste der Gegend telefonisch abzuklappern? Die entsorgen meist auch und sind dabei preislich viel günstiger und flexibler, was die Standzeit betrifft.

@pallenberg Ich bin da immer noch zwiegespalten. Jetzt haben wir Kabel und Ports, die alle gleich aussehen und passen. Fair enough.
Aber ich weiß nie, was für Fähigkeiten tatsächlich drin stecken: USB 2 oder 3 irgendwas oder 4, vielleicht auch Thunderbolt? Viel oder wenig Strom. You never know. Ist immer ne Wundertüte.

In big Japanese train stations, there are marked pathways for where to queue up when boarding your train! I think it's amazing that this works! \o/

@blinry Kind of funny, since there seems to be this stereotype of the well-ordered Germans who are also good at lining up. Which, in reality, is absolutely not the case - at least based on my experience.

So something like this would never work in Germany.
