Its definitely awesome that your cat is scratching, and good you want to keep their claws trimmed. Sharp claws can get caught in fabrics, and hurt other pets.

Bad news! Scratching actually sharpens their claws and pulls the old nail sheaths off the new razor sharp claw beneath.

Good news! You can trim your cat’s claws for the price of a pair of clippers.

Just be patient and gentle and calm and they’ll get used to it. My formerly feral rescue cats sleep through it now after years of it. The first few times, I’d just clip as many as they’d calmly let me. Now the clippers are like the brush, and they purr.

My son absolutely reks on Warthunder and Fortnite. Like, 30 kills in duos, rez’ing me and my SO twice each match. My jam was Unreal Tournament, and I definitely give him props for his skill and reflexes.

Tbf, you also said “hairy,” which is a huge turn-on for some ladies. My SO is obsessed with hairy. I didn’t know that was a thing until her.

Get confident. That’s what sold my girl on me. I walk, talk and otherwise behave confidently, even when I have no fu#$ing clue.

Bonus points: my SO also points out when other girls check me out. I’m oblivious to that stuff, so that’s a nice boost.

I don’t use Chrome, and don’t use browser-based password management. Why would I want to trust a third party with the most secure aspect of my digital life? The answer to the question, “What do you do when online password managers are insecure and compromised by bad actors?” Isn’t to use a different online password manager.

I‘m not sure if its obvious to others but „free speech absolutist“ musk and his xitter adhering to orders suppressing dissent directly before an election feels like the typical musk bs.

That’s because he only cares about speech he likes. Modi is a strong-man fascist, Musk’s favorite bedfellow. As his banning of journalist’s accounts and lawsuits against journalists make clear, he doesn’t support free speech unless he agrees with it, and he very much agrees with authoritarians.

While true, in the context of this news about discord being scraped, a bridge would not prevent the scraping, and would allow the matrix data (if the bridge is two-way) to also be scraped (which, come to think of it, if they can scrape discord, there’s every reason to believe they can scrape matrix as well).

Crawled out from under my rock and need the context. Running LOS 21 on my pixel 5 and still have toggle functionality with the March 18 update.

Edit: got the April 15 update yesterday and now I too, have no quick toggle function. Enshittification continues apace…

I don’t configure my smart watch (Garmin tracker) for notification, text, call access, as I prefer not to send those private communications to a third (and fourth, and fifth…) party. Also, my watch battery last three extra days if I disable Bluetooth at all tines except sync.

So for me, quick toggle was what I enjoyed.

Fuck Google… More like Microsoft every day.

I think you’re thinking of a post about another instance that was misconfigured and causing .world to send out duplicate updates to other instances, hence the block. I thought it was an announcement, but I don’t see it in c/support now.

They still haven’t published on github or fdroid yet, and as the only update available is on the Play store, and I won’t install from there, I haven’t tried it yet.

Added the ability to select an action when starting playback (for example, you can choose to continue playback from an interrupted position), providing more control over the playback experience.

We have been able to do this in previous versions at least back to v17…

Improved AV1 support is welcome, and the ffmpeg change as well.
