@mary @jacqueline The mastodon server queer.af had to shut down because they used the ccTLD of Afghanistan, which is now administered by the Taliban, and they're cracking down on queer stuff.

Boston will now allow non-cops to direct traffic at construction sites!

This is a huge deal that will make it much easier to make streetscape improvements. But the cops still have their hand in the pie. They've kept first dibs on the chance to get overpaid for work that does not need cops.
