@drahardja The parity is a bigger issue with the S and X because the S has less RAM than the One, and games are getting really RAM intensive. That was that issue with getting Baldur’s Gate 3 on the S, and Microsoft had to wave the parity requirements. Microsoft basically didn’t future-proof the S. The PS4 pro came out when the PS4 was already a mature system and devs knew how to work with it, and made souped up versions for the pro model.
@drahardja But the S is so behind the X and PS5 because of that RAM that it’s going to cause more and more problems as games start getting much more RAM intensive. I’m glad they’re open to waving parity, but they hamstrung themselves with the S’s RAM.
@drahardja As for the subscription service, I do not understand why it’s not more seamless. They say they want you to be able to play anywhere, but why make it a hassle to be cross platform, when they make both the Xbox and Windows?
All classroom controlled died today in the middle of my writing class when we all overheard a teacher yelling at a student for apparently jacking it in the middle of class. 😅
@FlockOfCats I have no idea if the kid actually was or was making a bad taste joke in front of the wrong teacher or what but like…everyone in my class immediately guessed who they thought it was and there is no way this won’t be rocketing around the school. OMFG. 🥴
You know the drill by now. I don't like talking about Black history. Americans know Black history. I want to talk about white American history. In other words, racism, and the erasure of both positive achievements of, and injustices suffered by, non-white people. That's what people don't know.
Try this: Ask your white US friends what the statue of liberty celebrates.
Now ask your Black friends. Or French folk of any color.
But just LOOK at all this closet space I have now! (The stuff that’s there, my friend left for me when she left). I haven’t had this much closet space since I was a kid!
My new place is SO BIG compared to the tiny patch of claustrophobia I lived in before. I’m sitting the bedroom and at the end of the hall is the living room.
#Twitter was partially down this morning worldwide. Search and trends showed no results, and both the “For you” and “Following” timelines were completely down. Posting did work, but nobody other than you was able to see your posts.
At 1:45 a.m. Eastern time, the website came back online fully. Total downtime was much over an hour.
