    I'm pretty sure that this isn't directly a intention by ko-fi.
    Liberapay for example says, roughly something like "Even tho we don't care, PayPal and Stripe still have strict adult content rules, therefore you should probably look for a service specializes for adult content".

    Or in other words, even if ko-fi would like to support adult content, they can't because the payment providers are not fine with it.

    As about why the payment providers don't like adult content,
    Its usually connected with a lot higher chargeback rate.
    Dudes regretting their purchases after they are done, or people paying for it with stolen cards happens way more often in the adult market than elsewhere.

    Therefore many payment providers don't wanna deal with it.
    Don't say that there aren't other reasons why they don't do this, but the chargebacks / increased risk are the main reason.

    Visa/Mastercard and even PayPal do offer actually payment processing for adult sites, but those usually have higher requirements, higher fees and often require deposits of a couple of k to cover the risk.

    Same (partially) also goes for gambling sites for example.

    As ko-fi or liberapay, are technically noting but a fancy page that redirect to your own paypal or stripe account, it's really not in their hands to decide what they allow or now.

    @astrid You've checked if vyos considers the route as valid?

    If the route learned has, for example, a unreachable next hop vyos won't install the route into the kernel table.
    Therefore no routing is happening :3

    @tfunken@lyratris.com avatar

    @Jain i guess the comparison is not entirely fair, considering mastodon.de is hosted in a datacenter and blob.cat in your homelab.

    Technically you are already spending 60 Euro just for the internet connection, nothing else included :neocat_laugh_nervous:

    @Jain blob.cat runs on a IP address for a home fiber connection from init7.
