@SunDancer ich habe einen Zwischenspeicher nach und nach gelöscht, daher ist es nicht gleich aufgefallen. Nun bin ich aber mit löschen durch und in den nächsten 12 Stunden sollten die Avatare wieder erscheinen :)

Hey Metalhead.club users, don't be confused. You will probably miss lots of avatars from remote server users.

That is because I'm cleaning the avatar cache. After the cleanup is done, I'll trigger a reload of all profiles. The avatars should then be displayed correctly, again. Sorry for the inconvenience!

I really hope all the profile headers and avatars will come back soon. Mastodon has an unclear caching policy... I read that these image files will be re-fetched from the remote servers "when certain profile actions happen" 🤷‍♂️

But what are these actions?

Eigentlich gehe ich nie in Plattenläden, weil ich rein digital konsumiere. Aber heute ist irgendwie alles anders... Konnte dort aber leider nicht besonders viel Zeit verbringen.

Werde mir trotzdem die beiden Alben nochmal in Ruhe anhören.

Selbst die neue VR Bank App fühlt sich an vielen Stellen an wie eine zusammengebastelte Ansammlung von Legacy, schmutzigen Workarounds und gammligen Scripten.

Keine Ahnung, wie die das immer schaffen, aber am Ende bleibt der Eindruck, dass sie da eigentlich nur ein paar halbwegs hübsche GUI Elemente um ein paar alte Fortran-Scripte gebastelt haben 😅

Is anybody using Jellyfin and having playback issues when using the Jellyfin Android app?

Songs are suddenly paused / stop playing towards the end of each track. If I hit "Pause", the song continues. It looks like the connection to the Jellyfin server is interrupted after some time. I've suspected the Android battery saving mechanisms as a problem but setting "No battery optimization" in the app settings didn't change anything. The problem persists. 🤔

@SkyfaR noch nicht, aber das mache ich später mal :) Muss ja irgendwie zu fixen sein... Ich will auch noch ein paar Experimente mit der WebUI machen und sehen, ob es damit durchläuft oder das ein Problem mit dem Smartphone oder der App ist.
