EMC place wants a couple of units where "Screen is on and displays some kind of repetitive graphic, does not turn off"

reckon this'll do? (it also plays a sine wave forever)

it's a tangara! on the screen it says "It's sine time!!!" and has a count of how long it's been playing for also, 8 tiled, rotating images of my cat making a silly face with love hearts around him

Okay, ich bin ja wirklich kein Freund von Aberglaube, aber das kann doch kein Zufall mehr sein - kaum steige ich in einen Zug ein ist er verspätet. Das ist dann jetzt Fahrt Nr. 19 dieses Jahr oder so - und mit Ausnahme von einer (Wobei da auch Auslegungssache) waren alle Züge nach den Kriterien der Bahn verspätet.

Wieso hasst die mich?

@raichoo Pretty cool. I think Izotope RX7 has some kind of similar features, I might need to try this in Reaper as a plugin on a track as well.

@gsuberland I'm completely unexperienced with analog circuit, so excuse me for asking, but am I getting this right? Q1 is limiting current at the start due to the voltage divider of R1/R4/Q4, and in the background R34 let's C44/C45 slowly charge up, which in turn will push Q4 (n-type) to active mode, which then lowers the gate voltage of Q1 (p-type) pushing it to active mode and letting current flow freely? Looks interesting and the notes seem very helpful to me!

@gsuberland And if I got this correct so far: the Zener diodes are for protection mostly, and R35 to discharge C44/C45 after shutdown to reset the circuit?

@gsuberland Oh this is great! Thanks. Much cooler than the old SPICE stuff that I still remember :) I can see a small spike in current once Q4 pulls down Vgs on Q1 fully. I guess that's short enough to not trip the fuse? I'm wondering where that current flows, why this happens. Does not seem obvious to me 🤔

Hier läuft gerade Child In Time mit dem originalen Made In Japan Mix. Es ist faszinierend was für einen geilen Sound man 1972 bei einem Liverecording hinbekommen hat. Gerade, wenn man es mit den Aufnahmen vergleicht die heute so herumfliegen. 😲

Bin ich eigentlich die einzige die nicht aufmacht, wenn es klingelt - außer ich weiß zu welchem Anlass jemand was möchte?

Also für Postboten oder wenn ich ein Paket erwarte, mache ich schon auf. Ansonsten verfalle ich immer in Schockstarre und ignoriere die Klingel?

@thomas Da ich das immer wieder auf größeren Konzert-PAs machen muss hab ich da so ‘ne fertige Playlist. Wandert auch als WAV in verschiedenen Sampleraten auf einem USB-Stick mit mir mit, damit es auf allen Mischpulten direkt abspielbar ist. @anneroth Ja. Mit der neuen DB App. Ich werde in dieser mehrfach pro Tag ausgeloggt. Keine Ahnung warum. Mir ist das auf einer Zugreise passiert, bei der ich ein Einzelticket gebucht habe. Ich durfte dann zum Glück in Ruhe meinen Laptop ausgraben, mich mit gefühlt 2 KByte/s in das Firmenportal einloggen und das Ticket als PDF herunterladen und vorzeigen. Das hat etwa 20 Minuten gedauert, gerade rechtzeitig bis der Schaffner zurückkam. Seitdem reise ich in DB nur noch mit Papierticket.

@anneroth Selbiges passiert mir jetzt übrigens mit dem 49€-Ticket - Ich werde hier zu einer App gezwungen, bisher konnte ich immer ein Papierticket verwenden, aber das wird jetzt wohl aus irgend einem Grund verboten. Da der bisherige Anbieter (Wieso gibt es da überhaupt mehrere?!) nur noch App anbietet habe ich zu den lokalen Stadtwerken gewechselt die angeblich eine Chipkarte anbieten. Ich hoffe, dass der Wechsel reibungsfrei wird - es zeichnen sich schon die ersten Abrechnungsprobleme ab.

@wonka @anneroth Danke! Ich hatte auf die schnelle nur Hamburg gefunden, und halt mit explizitem nachschauen die lokalen Stadtwerke. Ich probiere es jetzt erstmal hier. Die Registrierung habe ich gestartet, angeblich sollte einige Tage später ein Brief mit Zugangsdaten im Briefkasten liegen - tut er aber auch nach 1,5 Wochen noch nicht :/ Nach Ostern mal nachhaken, eventuell rennen denen grade alle die Bude ein, weil der App-Zwang ja deutschlandweit ist so wie ich das verstehe.
