Bonehead,

We're not the ones resorting to this ableist bullshit, they are. They are the ones wearing diapers and making a mockery out of it. We criticize them for making a mockery out of it simply to emulated someone that makes a mockery out of everything. Do we need to remind everyone of Trump mocking a disabled person on live TV?

Yes, I agree, fuck that noise. But we're not the ones making that noise.

Bonehead,

All I ever needed from my parents was an occasional “good job,” a pat on the back, or an extra scoop of ice cream. And sure, I never got those things, but how else was I gonna learn that I was neither special nor important?

That one hit a little too close to home. I think I'm going to call in sick to work this morning. And maybe go buy some ice cream.

Bonehead,

Not just fish. Catholics are allowed to eat beaver too, since it's technically a fish in their eyes.

No, really...I only wish I was making this up...

All I see is "Police, please pull me over. I obviously don't have a license or registration, so this will be an easy conviction for your records." If you're going to flaunt the law, at least make an effort to do it low-key...

Bonehead,

She's 63 and lost half a lung to cancer after losing her mother and her sister within a short time. That tends to age people faster.

Bonehead,

It's Francis Bacon, the author that said "Knowledge is power". Come on now, this is easy enough to look up...it's not rocket appliances.

The real question is...why are the data lines connected to anything in these chargers, let alone connected to the CAN Bus? There's no need for security if you just don't have access. Something tells me either the company doesn't like their customers, or the bus driver was just a dick.

Bonehead,

One day is all it takes for a dictator to destroy a democracy...

Bonehead,

It's a sad attempt to get an instance that is trans-friendly defederated. Don't let the idiots win...

Bonehead,

I did see a doctor. I have Crohn's. I can't help it. Neither can an exorcist, though he did seem to give me more prostate checks than the doctor did for some reason.

Bonehead,

First of all, if you're going to buy a fancy expensive non-stick pan, spend the money and buy non-metal utensils to use with it.

Second, if you want to keep using metal utensils, buy anodized aluminum. It's not perfectly non-stick, but it's close and it can take a beating.

People don't get upset about saying the date in whatever format. They get upset when you write it in that format without specifying, so that you don't know if 07/04/1776 is July 4th or April 7th.

Bonehead,

The fact that this sink doesn't have a channel for overflow from one sink to the other and has no other obvious overflow control is really bothering me...

Bonehead,

Mechanical door locks can be picked, but it must be done at the lock in plain view rather than at a distance sitting in a car while you do the majority of the work and then casually walking up and opening the door. Locks are more of an inconvenience than a deterrent, so it should be made as inconvenient as possible. Connecting them to the internet is the exact opposite of that.

Bonehead,

When I worked for Bell, they had just ended their WFH policy. I was required to be in the office every day. The rest of my team was still under the policy according to their contract, including my boss who was a 10 minute walk from the office, so they all worked from home. And most of my meetings involved teams in 3 different cities, not to mention the fact that it was Bell, so all meetings were over the phone with a screen sharing app. There were some other people that worked in the office, but they worked with different teams so I didn't interact with them beyond saying "hi" in the break room as I was getting coffee. But it was apparently very important that I be in the office.

Some days I really appreciate the fact that I left IT.

Bonehead,

Ah...so it's a commercial disguised as an article.

Bonehead,

On the bright side, the hosts came out immediately and literally called bullshit on his explanation and then outlined why its bullshit.

Bonehead,

Scrubs.

I understand that they were trying to create a spinoff. But to continue with the same name and then teasing us with the previous main characters just destroyed what was the perfect series ending.

Bonehead,

They weren't entirely wrong. The numbers don't lie. They just don't say what the author claims it does.

Bonehead,

I think this is a huge part of it. Occasionally I'll surf Facebook after checking out the marketplace. Last night I saw tons of posts about that "Try that in a small town" song with tons of people claiming to support it. Just post after post of people saying they don't see anything racist about it at all, and not a single one pointing out how showing videos of the BLM protests while singing "we take care of our own, try that in a small town" miiiiiiiight just be a little bit racist. Fortunately I usually only click on cat videos and the rare left leaning recommended posts, so I got to see one post with a picture of John Cougar Mellencamp saying something like "I sang about my small town without mentioning violence." The post had hundreds of comments....all deleted by admins.

Even when you try to avoid the controversy and hateful comments, the system is still designed to keep you doomscrolling. Positivity doesn't help that...

Bonehead,

This is just it. I used limewire for years and never got a virus. I was also not stupid enough to download "Brittany.Spears.Nude.Totally.Legit.Movie.avi.exe". It amazes me how completely blind some people are.

Bonehead,

In fact, they’re limiting colour options now and the canvas is smaller.

You only need black and white in a small space to spell out "fuck spez".

Hot take: 18 years of user contributions to reddit will serve as a base model for an AI that generates content and conversations. the reddit experience continues as a simulation, to harvest clicks, sales and ad revenue.

most of the time you'll be talking to a bot there without even realizing. they're gonna feed you products and ads interwoven into conversations, and the AI can be controlled so its output reflects corporate interests. advertisers are gonna be able to buy access and run campaigns. based on their input, the AI can generate...

Bonehead,

...and fake. The "AI" user admits further down that they are just trolling.
