All the shirts I have with logos I got for free, usually from work. Except for my NASA t shirt. I'll wear their logo for free.

You can get the same effect as a new car by buying a used car and then lighting $20,000 on fire when you drive it off the lot.

They need to get these folks to do commercials for the campaign. Nobody trusts authority or institutions, but seeing real people who have been really helped might make an impact.

I'm starting to think that this is the rest of society and I'm the one who should leave.

Bibi Is Choosing Stefanik and Trump. President Biden, Don’t Be Fooled. (www.nytimes.com)

If you are keeping score at home, you have surely noticed that the two most important defense officials in Benjamin Netanyahu’s war cabinet — Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and the former military chief of staff Benny Gantz — warned last week that Netanyahu is leading Israel into a disastrous abyss by refusing to present...

He would be ruthlessly lambasted as an antisemite by the AIPAC-endorsed left and all of the right, and lose the Jewish vote in every swing state, handing the election to Trump in a landslide.

Instead, he's getting ruthlessly lambasted as a genocider by significant Muslim populations in swing states, losing their vote, and handing the election to Trump in the Electoral College.

And in the meantime children die. What a stupid world.

I know enough history to be used to not being able to vote not to kill children.

Majority of Americans wrongly believe US is in recession – and most blame Biden (www.theguardian.com)

Nearly three in five Americans wrongly believe the US is in an economic recession, and the majority blame the Biden administration, according to a Harris poll conducted exclusively for the Guardian. The survey found persistent pessimism about the economy as election day draws closer....

Since this is a problem of perception the question becomes what do people think the economy would look like if it was doing well? What hasn't changed in their lives that they expected to when the economy started doing better?

Despite polls, Biden aides insist Gaza campus protests will not hurt reelection bid (www.reuters.com)

WASHINGTON, May 18 (Reuters) - Several top White House aides say they are confident protests across U.S. college campuses against Israel’s offensive in Gaza will not translate into significantly fewer votes for Joe Biden in November’s election, despite polls showing many Democrats are deeply unhappy about the president’s...

I'm less concerned with college students and more worried about Muslims. They're key demographics in a lot of swing states. If Biden loses this by a few hundred votes in Michigan or Pennsylvania it'll be because of that, not college kids.

And it will also show what a joke of a system of government we have. Again.

Clinton won California by a 2:1 margin and Trump was still president.
