Anyone else having trouble with finding synthesis targets? Lately I look around in my synthesis scanner and most of the trails leading to the target are missing. It’s fine at the beginning of the mission but as time goes on they start disappearing. I look in places I remember seeing a trail before and it’s gone.
the 'trails' only seem to work right if you follow it from the beginning or haven't strayed off its invisible path.
when i know there's a target in-mission, i just swap to the scanner. i usually melee anyway. quick melee and 'zoom' check every room. they will automatically swap. don't even need to 'look' for the trail, the marker will pop-up and voiceover will start if you 'check' close enough to their spawn point (usually same or adjacent tile)

it's even worse when you also look at the 65w versions (which also don't need elaborate cooling solutions. just a noctua or similar) of the same chip. 14900(f) vs 'k' vs 'ks'
i spent a number of years in south texas. yea, i missed it.. but i missed the northern summers more.
aside from the (singular) week's worth of cold and snow we've gotten, this past winter 'up north' has been more like the south texas winters i remember.
a hoop toss at a mob with at least two buddies nearby should already basically 'pay for itself' (and then some) via the energy drops. i have never had a need for equilibrium on nezha.
a few hours south of the border in the upper midwest. same deal. green grass over the holidays and one little spurt of 'winter' is all we've had. at least it's getting below freezing often enough to keep the mosquitos dormant.
both of our desks in the office are 'corner' ones.. no hutch over either, though, so the back corner space is usable. one has fairly large laser printer in the corner and the deeper 'leg' of the desk does still have a crt monitor (19in trinitron) on it (the other side has three 5:4 lcd), the other desk holds a sff slim tower and a rack for file folders in its corner. they each also have one or two midtower pc on the floor under the corner and out of the way.
media formats it already does, and it is expected to support nearly everything. but as far as a front-end for whatever tf they're planning--there are plugins and extensions already, it should be there. not in the base code.
the legislation that needs to get passed, cannot, unless and until the house majority swings about 20 points the other way and the sliver of a majority in the senate is boosted by at least another 10.
i still use a 'dumb' phone. it gets replaced when it physically breaks to the point it's falling apart. i'm on my sixth one in 22 years. two of those were used on a second line i no longer have.
tracking, ads, cookies, probably bot detection, too. they want it all running and enabled.
fuck 'em. on desktop, i just drag over the headline and search via right click menu for an alternate site that re-publishes nyt articles or has one that covers the same thing.
surely they could have shaved-off 500 megabytes out of... what? 150 gigabytes... of game content and media just from better compression or optimization of those files.
I’m looking for an image viewer on windows that also has some simple editing tools. I’ve been using nomacs for quite a while, which is exactly that, but editing images with this software can get pretty finicky, so I’m looking for an alternative....
irfanview is pretty much everything op is looking for. i've tried every freeware and open source image viewer i have run across over the last three+ decades, for windows and linux. irfanview is the best, hands-down.
i use it mainly on windows currently but the latest version runs 'ok-enough' under wine. for me, there is no comparable linux native application--they're all missing something essential i use most every day or add inconvenience via extra clicks to do something simple like zoom or go full screen or page forward/backwards in a directory.
thumbnail browsing of a folder is there, but the feature is a little rough. the native file explorer, whether it be windows or a linux desktop environment, is better and faster for that anyway.
