They'll probably cancel it anyway after one season, unless it makes a billion dollars in one week or something. (Yes, I'm still bitter about 1899 being cancelled)
Exact same thing here. I was stuck for years because no internet and I didn't figure out I needed to ask Boos for his keys. Then a friend got a hint book which unblocked me. I still loved the game even back when I was stuck lol. The atmosphere, the music (man, the music!), the weirdness. Love that game.
Yeah, I'm all for privacy, but I actually get interesting things recommended by YouTube. If I turn this off won't I just get random YouTube videos? No thanks. I also do use my watch history for "I watched it the other day, what was that video called again?"
I’ve been closely studying dialogue and cinematography in video games lately. Try to detach the dialogue system from the dialogue. What’s the best? Was it technically multiple systems or just one?
I know a guy on an old forum who claimed most of his dreams were lucid. I do believe that if you're able to cultivate the right level of awareness and the right mindset it is possible.
I believe the trick is mindfulness meditation. How can we expect to get lucid at night when we're going through our waking lives in auto-pilot? If we practice being here and now and being aware of the nature of our reality, that mindset will sooner or later be a part of our lives, both waking and dreaming.
I am actually looking forward to threads taking off. I, as a mastodon user, will be able to follow my friends, celebrities, artists and interact with them when federation is activated. It is hard to get friends on to mastodon. The software is great and is better than Twitter, but the people are not on Mastodon but on Twitter,...
@78zeros I heard about this yesterday and really want one! Unfortunately the shipping and taxes (Europe) is half of the price of the Playdate itself :(

I remember seeing this a long time ago, if I'm not going crazy. Weren't there many more layers to it? "...drawing myself drawing myself drawing myself..."
RIP RIF. I'm another one who used it 99% of the time. I'm glad I found kbin and I'm mostly over reddit, but I'm not over RIF. Thank you for all those years. Fuck you u/spez for destroying the site I've been a part of for almost 10 years... in a single week.
Right now I’m just starting agaim to try, I just had two LDs in my life, but I would like to have them more often. I use mantras (I dont really do the full MILD), reality checks, dream journal, and, when I have time, I also do pre-sleep meditation ( i remember a past dream or a place that I invented).
I used to do mostly MiLD or auto-suggestion and have kept a dream journal for years. I've managed a few accidental WILDs but those are even trickier to get consistently. Recently I haven't really been doing any techniques, but focusing on mindfulness and meditation, and dream recall.
I'm changing my stance on the whole Meta/project92 thing after reading this article. I think the entire* fediverse should block project92 by default. Later, some instances can re-evaluate whether to maintain those blocks, once we have a better idea of what the benefits and consequences of federating will be:...
But dream recall is a skill, you'll get better at it. I recommend writing in as much detail as you can, even if it's a short fragment. And if you don't remember anything just write "didn't remember anything" or something.
Some auto-suggestion before sleep can also help: "I will remember my dreams tonight" or "next time I wake up I will immediately remember my dreams".
Another thing that has been helping me is trying to be more mindful during the day, and going through my day in my head when I go to bed. Try to recall your day before sleep and your dreams after sleep :)

How did you discover lucid dreaming?
Did you have one spontaneously? Randomly read about it online? Are you one of those lucky people that have had them since childhood?
What niche reddit community do you want to see find a place on the fediverse?
Personally i'm looking forward to seeing twobestfriendsplay, arkhamasylum, whowouldwin, and respectthreads, on here.
