I repeat, from today #Windows Support #milestone is completed 🎉
This is means that all crates works on that OS as expected, tests going on CI regularly and that CI-checks marked as required for merge from now.
@scalzi
Waves of uninspired #PlayDate knockoff energy emanating from this thing's industrial design alone.
I love that Panic has inspired interest in novel form factors and human input devices (like the PlayDate crank or that R1 wheelie thing). But I have a deep dislike of cheap immitations.
All of the talk over the last few weeks about startups shipping unfinished hardware reminds me, and not for the first time, what a triumph the #playdate is. The whole @panic crew worked so hard to deliver something that fulfilled expectations and then some against challenges (like a global pandemic and supply chain fiasco) that would have leveled others.
@NohatCoder I definitely know the feeling! My project is on easy mode wrt dependencies, because it is for a niche hardware (#playdate), it is hard to drag in dependencies there even if you want to :)
With the average game price on the Catalog being just $5, it's not like buying a new game is as costly as buying games for other games consoles. :face_laughing_with_sweat_drop_fb:
