I personally prefer winter because in summer the temperature is unbearable, I'm sweaty all the time, there are mosquitoes and ticks everywhere. while in winter I can sleep under many blankets and be comfy. But the cons of winter are that it gets dark quickly and ice can be slippery.

I know the article says this but it is very ugly. Though having steamdeck competition isnt a bad thing. Why do so many of these handles have the worst analog sticks?
Do most cities in America have parking lots. I feel like every city I go to the parking is hardest thing to find. Walmarts and malls being the exception.
I am theoretically switching over from Reddit to Lemmy. Finding myself spending more time on Lemmy than on Reddit. Maybe it's because I am limited to using the desktop and can't aimlessly browse Reddit on my iPhone. Of late, the only subreddits I cared for were on sports and their matchday threads and r/watches. I found myself...

This is disgusting. 8 years ago people where getting to the point where they would say "why did it take us so long?" Now it's sharply sliding backwards.
Leaving reddit has made me start looking at actual websites for content and then if I like it I bring it back here. Where in reddit everything was pretty much guaranteed to already been linked somewhere. I know if this community get big the same thing will happen. But for now I actually feel a part of the community instead of just passively experience the community.

I mean there's Reddit ofc, as well as Twitter in its entirety, Discord is implementing some dumb updates, there are issues with Tumblr as well as everything to do with Meta, and I'm sure there are plenty more (and I haven't even touched other digital media, for example the Sims). Why is it all happening in the span of about a...
Because of capitalism, no seriously these decisions are based on money and growth. But both of these things are relatively finite. You can't keep have exponential growth year after year. Eventually you will plateau but there isnt a mechanism in capitalism to accept that. So companies start forcing monetary gain.
This comes to no surprise to anyone who has played their Persona series or Catherine. I'm just bringing it up again because I went back to play Persona 3 Portable because of all the remake news and while P3P might have the least overall issues it does still have a transwomen being portrayed as a predator. They also having the...
The excuse they give for not adding female protagonist is just the fact they don't see the value of having one. I was playing Catherine last weekend and the way some of the people at the bar talk about women and how they basically are being ruined by women was kind of a eye opener for a lot of issues in Atlus games. I don't know how I missed it when I was teenager.

I wish progressive had been adapted into a Anime instead of movies.
As the tiles says I wish the progressive light novels had been adapted into a long running anime.
