Had some fun trying to find an email app in the play store #today.

Searched for some reccos on the web, got some to test.

Searched for blue mail, got two pages of ads on the playstore. Never found the email app at all.

Changed the search to EXACT NAME in Google play.

Couldn't find the app.

Exactly the same failure for proton mail, and Samsung email.

Had to install via the web interface because the search is completely focused on getting me to install Edison fast email or outlook lite.

8 days later the #homelab has some 22T temp disks running my 55T of "stuff" while the 15 8T's get a full scan. Once that's done the zfs pool will be re-created with better parity and a hot spare.

Thank goodness for ddrescue tho. Thought I lost it all there for a few days.

Well, I'm gonna find out!

I hear it has actual video in so it can be a travel monitor, passes the keyboard/trackpad and touchscreen properly to the USBC input too.

I tried the Dopesplay things but the pixel density sux.

I may sell my Tab s6 LTE and Zeph G14 and move all of my travel work to the ROG Ally.

Less stuff, same or better functionality...
