Does anyone have an estimate on the number of #UK users on the #Fediverse?
By my (hastily-conducted and not at all comprehensive) research there are about 26K "active users" (as reported by the instances' about pages) reported across a dozen or so UK-focused Mastodon instances, but obviously there will be folks on instances that aren't geographically-focused (and a long tail of single-user instances)

I love #Mammoth for #Mastodon, but man is it buggy at the moment. Polls don’t seem to work properly, scrolling randomly lags, timeline sometimes fails to load, etc.
Where’s the big list of #Fediverse servers full of fascists or that should otherwise should be blocked these days? The list I was using doesn’t appear to have been updated in several months. #Mastodon
If you run an instance but you don’t do basic stuff like adjudicate appeals of content bans, it’s worse than if your instance didn’t exist. If you don’t run your instance semi-competently, you’re massively wasting a lot of people’s time as they have to then migrate out of it etc. Either take it seriously or don’t do it.

I have been hard at work updating the logo for #AllThingsTech and I am happy to share it with y’all.
Many of our users, and others on #Mastodon, let us know that it was hard to differentiate the wording in our naming since there is no spacing. I also wanted to give the text a more “tech” feel to it.
