Before bed, I played Cyberpunk 2077, completing several gigs and side quests which were relatively easy! For a character whose dump stat is Cool (Stealth) without investment, I find it easy to stealth through areas.

Netrunning in this game is OP because that's mostly how I did this. I took over surveillance systems and fried a lot of gonks using System Collapse or Reboot Optics, and Memory Wipe. Thinning the herd and then sneaking about like a cyberfreak!

@Dennis5891 Yes, 2.0 really made this game amazing! The talent rework and additional changes have made Cyberpunk 2077 worth playing, I have 95 hours in the game and still want to play.

I made and canceled my ID renewal appointment because I realized that an up to date lease agreement is needed and this would take time to procure. Sent an email to my landlord’s office, hopefully I hear back tomorrow at the earliest. Then, I can schedule my appointment with all documents in hand.

Hype, I got Kerry's romance secured (got a rare achievement due to so many not choosing to romance Kerry)! My Dogtown progress is going well; I took a break after finishing several gigs with immense success.

Taking a brief break because I played for several hours, and my Xbox Series S was quite warm. After my Xbox cools down, it will be time to FAFO in Dogtown for the rest of the night until bed. πŸ˜‚

Time to turn my V’s rizz to the max as the penultimate quest with Kerry is a go! It took a while for Kerry Eurodyne to ring me up…

I’m pretty confident a romance with Kerry is going to happen because I’m pretty good at reading the room when it’s not me personally involved. After that, I’ll continue my Dogtown exploration!

I played the opening section of Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty last night, it impressed me! Dogtown is a fascinating place to explore so far, the in-game lore has intrigued me.

I'm going to explore Dogtown quite a bit later today, right now cleaning up after breakfast is a higher priority.

Mirthwood is looking fantastic, the developers are truly making a potential banger! Farm customization and medieval based seasonal farming truly intrigues me. I can't wait for Q3 to arrive as this game is going to be an instant buy! It's not just a cozy game, there is also adventure, mystery, and a whole ass main quest. I will share a link of Customization and Farming though.

Got my laundry finished but did no gaming; I got caught up on the silly and serious news going on today instead. In addition to watching Insym play games because I find his voice and gameplay relaxing.

I might play a bit of Cyberpunk 2077 before bed!

Again… why do people not favourite posts? More often than not I go to favourite posts and the counter pops up next to the button and I see I’m the only one ☹️
Especially weird when the post has a bunch of boosts too πŸ˜…

@tashen Boosting is more effective to make a post have reach on the Fediverse, so that is what most people do instead.

I'm a chronic favorite user...Mostly as I use it in the following ways: I see you, freaking cool, sensible opinions are welcome, etc. I enjoy getting the favorites as it gives me some serious dopamine!

I had an easy day today! Got my grocery shopping and bill paying done. Watched insym play some games, and played Nier Automata (so far 9S's story is pretty in line with 2B's story). There are minor differences in respect to parts when 2B was disabled or fighting offscreen, 9S was acting as support.

Tomorrow, I'll get laundry and more gaming done as I will enjoy my days off!

@Dennis5891 I only hacked the enemies who were golden as the other ones are pretty easy to dispose of with Ranged shots! I love being able to access all those locked chests via hacking...It was driving me crazy.

So I was checking out Assassin's Creed Shadows looking into what new controversy was going on, and I agree with tons of people about this game.
The main character being black is probably done to draw attention to that specifically and create dialog and drama, to distract from the stupidity of the pricing, slow game play, and graphics that look like its from a generation ago.

@Dennis5891 That's what I suspect as well; As Ubisoft will inevitably shit the bed in the pricing, or gameplay. The graphics are fine, a core thing for me is that a game visually communicates everything to me in a coherent way.

@Dennis5891 The pricing is exactly what I expected...Really bad, their standard awful price range!

For some, the graphics matter, for those prices it better damn well be crisp as hell! As it's true modern consoles should have higher fidelity than consoles before them (unless it's intentionally retro like Crow Country).

I am totally floored by the bold, drunk on LLM idea that Slack by Saleforce has right now: They want to compromise the privacy of customer data to train their implementation of an LLM.

This is beyond cursed because Salesforce has the audacity to make this scheme an opt-out instead of op-in to maximize the data accumulation.

I hope the uproar this will generate makes Slack step the hell back!

@ekongkaar It does worry me because there is a malicious use for LLMs called Prompt Injection Attacks. These are remarkably effective forms of attack for malicious actors. As we are in a gold rush phase for those techbros shilling the usage of AI (LLMs in disguise). They will not have made their constructs safer; this is still a very real threat. You can see why, knowledgeable people are concerned about this...Malicious actors could cause chaos.

Gotta resist watching the new Assassin’s Creed trailer.

Ubisoft is way too good at pulling me in with good premises and cool cinematic trailers. I’ll wait for the gameplay trailers and damn it, I am going to do all I can to not get suckered in. Ubisoft and Bethesda are damn good at baiting me. πŸ™ƒ

@tashen Those cinematic trailers can be so damn tempting, but after years of seeing the trailer and having the game in my possession...I've been inoculated enough to resist being tempted. The live gameplay often never lives up to manufactured hype.

I'm going to be highly skeptical of anything Ubisoft puts out there; reviews are the only thing which will sway me these days. Or first-hand experience with demos or early access titles.

@COMPU73E That's a shame! I remember this game is decent (has some glitches and other tech issues) however that didn't stop me from rolling credits after about 30 hrs. Tango Gameworks being closed was the worst decision they made with those studio closures, aside from Arkane Austin getting shuddered!

I couldn't be less interested in any future UBI games if I tried, they might as well go the whole way, fire all their developers and just let AI generate their games from a template

@COMPU73E Exactly, I wasn’t fooled for a second because it was just a random chance thing for them. Jedi Fallen Order had been in a similar situation, it was just a public image bandaid which could easily be ripped off. As a company, EA were never changing because profits and dark pattern tactics are in the game!
