Tesla chair says Elon Musk needs $46 billion pay plan to stay motivated

Musk could devote less time to Tesla if pay isn't re-approved, shareholders hear.

Really interested in the new #Tuxedo #Sirius Gen-2 laptop with both #AMD cpu & gpu, cause i'm fed up with the still truly horrible power-management of #NVIDIA gpu's on #linux.
Anyone know of reviews of it, apart from the 1 by #thelinuxexperiment?

Also, the Gen-1 was only available for a few months, which seems weird? and the only difference looks the cpu, changed from Ryzen 7 7840HS to 8845HS, which doenst make much difference. Anyone know what happened there?

@ErikJonker Moving from whatsap to signal is a good step. Moving to Element (Matrix protocol) an even better one. Because:

  1. Signal is still US-based so similarly conflicted wrt eu-us diclosure- an privacylaws. Element/Matrix is EU based.
  2. Matrix network is distributed by design (like mastodon) and has fully open api for any third-party client (like mastodon)

Old dell servers are often cheaper and more powerful than devices sold as NAS systems!

Buy a USB 3 PCIe card and you can attach all your cheap USB SATA mass storage to it or fill it with SSD drives or both.

  • TrueNAS (core = jails, scale = docker)
  • OpenMediaVault
  • UnRAID
