Is er wel sprake van een gelijk speelveld tussen China en VS/EU?
Ik hoor dat de Chinese overheid veel geld pompt in de auto industrie en de EV auto's daarom goedkoper zijn. Ook beschikt China over meer grondstoffen.
Maar hoe wordt al die elektriciteit opgewekt, gebeurt dat ook groen? Anders is het ook een beetje misleidend.
Sowieso vind ik het vreemd dat auto's van land tot land worden versleept, het zou beter lokaal geproduceerd moeten worden.

YES! Stel Jumbo zet een bewaker in die door een winkel loopt. Deze zal op het gedrag van klanten letten en klanten herkennen die eerder verdacht gedrag hebben getoond.
In hoeverre verschilt die van de inzet van AI?

Zeker waar, ik ben dan ook geen voorstander van het inzetten van AI voor dit soort doeleinden (al snap ik wel dat het goedkoper is).
Maar als het gaat om privacy, dan weet ik niet of de scheidslijn anders ligt.

How can it be that the killing of white aid workers is now seen as a “turning point”? That newspapers are NOW saying “Enough” ? Like, it was all ok up to now - killing 40,000 people, systematic starvation, destroying virtually the whole of Gaza - but now it’s “Enough”? All of this so problematic.

But yes, of course I too hope that this is a turning point; that Western support for Israel’s war is waning.

Some people in Russia are against Putin, but I'm afraid it is a minority. The younger generation does not know differently and the older generation is used to communism.
Basically about 45% of the world is against Russia, 25% is in favour and the rest does not care about it.

De vier partijen die nu een informatie ingaan, omdat ze weigeren alternatieven te overwegen, zijn allemaal behept met leiders met een hoge eigendunk, en daarnaast ook, en nog vervelender, met het idee dat ze een verlengde zijn van Het Volk.

Bij Wilders is dat natuurlijk het sterkste, maar Van der Plas met haar homo agraricus romantiek doet daar niet veel voor onder. Yeşilgöz leidt onder immigranten overcompensatie, en Omtzigt is ook al hoeder van de Natie.

Ik vrees dat Henk & Ingrid en Fatima & Mohammed allang begraven zijn. Sociaal is blijkbaar iets uit het verleden.
Het is een soort revolutie in vertraging. Dat werkt even en dan komt er weer iets nieuws.
Dat 'even' zal wel enkele decennia duren...

Is Omtzigt echt verbaasd? Laten we het op 'voor de bühne' houden. De optie met PvdA/GL is uiteindelijk een aantrekkelijke nooduitgang voor de VVD.
Bij die coalitie kan de VVD de stekker er ook op elk moment uittrekken als ze weer voldoende zetels kunnen winnen.

    right is a very undemocratic tool. Still organization like , , NATO and even have this tool. It is mainly based on distrust. This distrust is from the cold war.
    The tool should be abandoned.
    is also a tool of government present in only 50% of all countries in the world.
    I believe there are a lot of challenges in to conquer.

    Ach ik ben zo'n 50plusser. Na ruim 30 jaar werken beland in een FIRE situatie. Ik wil best werken, maar het hoeft niet. Ik wil dan wel iets doen dat ik leuk vind. Dat kan een jongere weer niet zeggen, denk ik. Ik hoef er ook niet vet betaald voor te worden (wel eerlijk betaald).
    Maar ja, ik zal wel niet goed genoeg zijn ...

    Zojuist is mijn motie om het demissionair kabinet te verzoeken de eerder aangenomen motie van mijn collega Lisa van Ginneken alsnog uit te voeren. Onze motie roept op om niet in te stemmen met de CSAM-verordening zolang deze een vorm van chatcontrol bevat. En daarnaast ook niet in te stemmen met een clausule met uitstel van het één en ander. Helaas blijkt uit het debat dat het kabinet niet echt naar ons wil luisteren en voor de derde keer een aangenomen motie naast zich neerlegt. Spijtig.

    Dit is niet spijtig maar vooral anti-democratisch. De TK zit er om het werk van het Kabinet te controleren en is het hoogste controle orgaan in dit land. Het Kabinet is uitvoerder van het beleid en kan alleen bij onuitvoerbaarheid van een motie of als uitvoer leidt tot onaanvaardbare risico's, een motie negeren.
    Dit Kabinet maakt er al vele jaren een regel van om zelf te bepalen wat ze wel en niet doet.
    Ik noem dat .

    Actually, Israel is passing the UN and makes its own route to response.

    If you repress a 'country' for 55 years and not willing to find a workable solution, you can expect this kind of criminal behavior.
    I read/hear a lot of support for Israel, while they build walls, occupied areas which don't belong to Israel and block borders so people barely can be supplied.
    And that only because they fear they will be attacked otherwise.
    Israel unfortunately have too many friends in the west.
