Nie ze*rajcie się z tym Bajdenem. Wiadomo, że fajnie, iż pojawił się w Fediverse, ale zwróćmy uwagę, w jakiej formie - dzieje się to na Threads, które i tak nie wie o reszcie Fedi, a gdy nawet zostanie otwarta dwustronna komunikacja, to i tak nikt nas nie będzie zauważał.

Także znowu cała uwaga blogosfery przejdzie bokiem koło Mastodona, Pixelfeda itd. i skupi się bardziej na Threads. Nie mówię, że nie warto zapoznać się z tym serwisem, ale powiedzmy, że stałem się dużo bardziej pesymistyczny wobec wszystkiego ostatnimi czasy.

Contest cultures ("constantly prove you belong! Prove you're smart! Everything here is a dog eat dog competition!") tear people down under the guise of "toughness" and "identifying brilliance." In psych, we know this is destructive to long term sustainable work and mastery. We know it's systematically leveled at marginalized folks more.

These beliefs are at the heart of it all. This cannot be what we continue to let define who belongs in technical work and cultures.

I moved all my private and public repositories from to and I must say I’m happy with that change. I love how smart the pipelines are - much cleaner code for CICD than with Actions. The only problem I see for now is the fact that adding to the GitLab profile doesn’t add the rel=me, so it doesn’t show as green on my profile here.

It was also ethical matter for me, I didn't want to deal with , so morally bankrupt corporation, in any way. Both for data stealing, violations and disrespect for users and for compliance with authoritarian governments and creating technologies for oppression.

Yes, I wrote this in form as a reason, in more detailed way, until I used character limit.

Now I feel... More coherent? And it's good feeling.

@werefreeatlast @signalapp Sounds like other side of data control problem. Users cannot choose where or how long they want to keep them or migrate when needed.
I am not sure if even Signal have option to migrate between Android and iOS devices.

The Marbled Polecat is an adorable fur noodle of the mustelid family endemic to southeastern Europe and western China. Only about a couple feet long including the tail, these solitary animals live in dens and burrows, and come out in the mornings and evenings to find food. While they mostly hunt rodents, they'll sometimes go for hares, birds, lizards, frogs, snails and insects, and will complete their diet with some fruits and grass. Its eyesight is weak, and it relies on its well-developed sense of smell.
