I am nearly ready to delete my Google Account. The 1 thing taking forever is changing my e-mail address on all my many accounts.

Google's new Terms of Service, you agree Google AI may access all your content (email, photos, etc.). While they do not claim ownership of your content, you agree they can use it.

@Linux @dan_lerch Ouch, I still remember that pain. Reason why it took me about 4 months even if I didn't have important data in account. And some services required contact with customer support to do it.

@dalias @Ulrich_the_Elder @ilumium I use both UBO and cookie-autodelete, and even this Firefox "don't keep history" settings for more than 4 years now. And effectively I avoid log into anything except maybe three sites I use regularly. (I also use 2FA in most services so process would be even more annoying.) Maybe it is also the reason I so rarely check my non-main mail accounts...

@friendly If you block it at user level and your instance has authorized fetch enabled, as I understand, your posts wouldn't federate to Threads.
