Bit of a weird release as well as Pix 'N Love did the PS4 release for this one, but did not do a PS5 disc release.
Now Red Art Games is doing that instead.
I can't recall many instances of something like this happening.
I was missing Atelier Sophie 2 so when I saw it go for a great price, I just couldn't resist.
Same with the discounted copy of Metal Slug XX by Pix 'N Love. 🥰
@OutofPrintArchive the first one has some big flaws but I love it, one of the most chill and happy games ever.
The second one is peak Gust. Interesting story and setting, fantastic alchemy, great turn-based combat, great character interactions (in particular among the main three). It also runs on the Ryza engine so it looks and runs much better than previous entries.
New Gundam Breaker is not by the original Gundam Breaker team and is nowhere near as good as the original trilogy. But for just €12, I'm sure I'll get enough enjoyment out of it.
As for Lumote, it was on one of those underrated PS4 videos and looks very striking, so I really wanted to grab it. Only €22 as well, so again, an easy pickup.
As many of you know, I love musou games.
They are like modern day Golden Axe sequels with a lot more strategy and things going on.
A couple of weeks ago, I started playing Dynasty Warriors 8 Xtreme Legends again and had such a blast, so I stared looking at which musou games I was missing on PS4/5.
This is certainly a great one, although it doesn't quite reach the highs of Samurai Warriors 4 and 4-II, which are my favourites in that series.
Two absolute heart picks for me arrived.
Sadly, I found out that Psychonauts 2 only runs at 30fps, even on PS4 Pro.
So I'm thinking of holding off to replay this one till I finally get a PS5 where it runs at 60.
How silly it might sound to most, Returnal is the one first party game that I actually want a PS5 for. Wasn't able to find a copy for less than €70, until this one popped up for 48, so I jumped at it.
Yeah, sadly, I didn't like Golden Abyss at all.
It was a technical showcase for the system for sure, but it didn't feel right to me.
A massive part of the uncharted series are the character interactions and the bond they have created to the players over the years.
At least that's how I feel about them. Same with The Last of Us.
Golden Abyss felt off...
Lost Legacy afterwards was a breath of fresh air though.
I think that's the only one I haven't completed yet..
My tribute to the #PlayStation 1 memory card. I'll never forget booting up the #PS1 and managing my game saves on that funky lookin' menu #animation#3D#art#gaming
omg omg omg it's here!
Can't play it right now as I have to leave for work in a bit, but I'm so glad to have these.
These are actually part of my summer vacation purchases, but I didn't want to hold off a couple of months just to see them sold out, so I grabbed them immediately instead.
