#Iran has offered full support to #Hamas and other resistance groups in #Palestine as they struggle against the Israeli occupation and its atrocities against the #palestinians.
And therein lies the problem. Normal intelligent people aren't "happy'" to sacrifice their kids on the altar of Islamic primacy. If the leadership of Gaza had spent all the aid they've received in the last 20 yrs on infrastructure instead of stuffing it into swiss bank accounts, Gazans would no issues with their economy. But no, it was more important to them to build tunnels & armaments, and buy condos in Qatar. This is about money & power. It's about killing off LGBTQ folks, atheists, oppressing women & non-muslims, getting away with it b/c they're not held to any modern standards in a fundamentalist Islamic regime like hamas, fatah, hezbollah, iran, and the taliban. Why are you pretending barbaric theocracies are acceptable in this day and age?
Funny how the Muslims who are citizens of Israel aren't fleeing for their lives, or oppressed - b/c they do vote, and have rights, even women, lgbtq folks, atheists, and buddhists or whatever. Unlike Gazans.
It's obvious when you pay your citizens to #martyr themselves while screaming #genocide.
The West is shocked at the brutalality of tribal nation warfare because Western civilization doesn't understand this level of sacrifice and is not fighting the martyr status #jihad.
I'm sure I can be as tribal as the next person, if I need to be, and I do understand this is about the primacy of fundamentalist Islam, not "land" as a lot of leftists misunderstand. As for the West being shocked, well, they're going to get to see it up close and personal when the white nationalist christo-fascists get control. Including a great many leftists now shilling for the victory of a similar fundamentalist theocratic regime as the one they're going to get. And I have a feeling they're not going to like it very much.

I'll agree with that. But the US under republican control should also be removed, as well as ANY nation that uses police state violence to impose one cult's beliefs on their citizens. Any nations that doesn't sign on to the Declaration of Human Rights should not be eligible. (The US is not a signee, by the way.) Any theocratic government should be excluded on those grounds. Either everyone is free to live their life, their ancestral culture, their gender, chosen spiritual path or religion, without government interference, and without government imposing any one groups's rules on the others, or that country has an invalid government, period. That includes Russia, that includes China, that includes the US now, and that includes any authoritarian fundamentalist theocratic regime of any flavour.

This is same cartoonish misrepresentation of the left position as the one thrown at those who opposed the invasion and occupation of Afghanistan and Iraq. Who ended up on the wrong side of history in those conflicts?
Western interventions in the Middle East are a major driver of the militant and fundamentalist Islamism you falsely conflate with Islam in general. Let's not forget the CIA-trained Mujahideen producing the first wave, or the funding of militias allied with "Al Queda" to fight in Syria. The US enablement of similar fundamentalist factions in Israel is another major driver of ME conflict.
