I love it when people correct me if I get my facts wrong. (nicely, of course, LOL!). I love it when people out here know more about a subject than I do. It's AWESOME! So thanks in advance for pointers to references/research/etc. on things.
I realize that a great many people I know (in person) cannot bear to be corrected (even when they are wrong) -- for sake of "saving face". I don't get why that is the case... none of us are infallible. All of us can always learn from someone else.
@ai6yr my last boss (a fantastic lady with a million and one anecdotes and quotes) was famous in our business circle for saying things like: “Success is a lousy teacher.” She’s the only thing I miss in retirement.
