Hamas is more Muslim Brotherhood, out of favor w/muslims in Egypt, SA, (last bastion in Qatar). West bank is not Hamas. A quasi-fascist Islamic regime is a concern. Can Israel stop being fascists? The whole thing makes me realize how much I loathe religion--all rooted in fucking FOUL FUELS with which we're killing our only planet.
Apparently they do want to create another extremist state, because if you point out they are promoting the executions of lgbtq folks, the normalization of slavery and dhimmi status for minorities, and the Afghanistan-ization of women's rights, you get blocked. The US left is willing to throw everything they supposedly stand for in the trash to promote a terrorist govt that ignores any and all human rights declarations. Make that make sense. And of course, zero acknowledgement that if republicans win here they'll get an upclose and personal view of all that being imposed on themselves by the new christo-fascist theocracy here.
