Dedicated to my loveliest sib, @yassie_j :agender_heart: 💗
One of the main ideas behind Andrew's Deb Demure persona is to be as agender as possible, both in outside presentation, and in music - it was them that introduced me to the concept of being agender. :Fire_Agender:
There are no words to describe how much I love this project. Most likely my favorite modern goth band.
I hope to be able to see them in Katowice - I actually got to catch Andrew in Warsaw after their gig (where they were playing under the Noel Skum persona as part of VR Sex), and they mentioned that they might come down here sometime :333 :ablobfoxbongohyper:
#goth#song of the day: Drab Majesty - 39 By Design
If I had to pick my favorite modern goth project, it would probably be Drab Maj - and when I consider it's amazing music video and how it approaches the rather heavy topic (Heaven's Gate cult), this is most likely my favorite song by them.
The entire Demonstration release is my favorite concept album of all time without question, worth listening from start to end.
High hopes that Andrew (or Deb Demure in this case) will deliver on the promise and they will play a gig in Katowice as they said to me when I met them in Warsaw :gothsparkleheart:
lowkey obsessed with this alvin and the chipmunks soundcloud project where every track is slowed to 16bpm. it’s dark and drippy and haunting and sorta fkd up—extremely my shit
If there is a band that absolutely defines the queer goth witch energy, then it's Kælan Mikla. :gothsparkleheart:
I've seen them live in Prague last year but their gig got cut short due to technical issues :<
Buuut they are playing at WGT this month, so I hope to see them again :3
Aus einer der Nachbarwohnungen schallt wieder der laute Fernsehton in die Fledermaushöhle. Ab 22 Uhr hören meine Nachbarn dann das #GothDiscoInferno und ihr könnt es auch.
40 years ago today, Dead Can Dance released their self-titled debut.
The start of one of music's most intriguing artistic collaborations.
"We’ve got something weird between us, there is something between Brendan and I when we work together that is really strong, something I’ve never found with anyone else.
It hurts. There is pain, there are blessings, there are moments of great beauty." - Lisa Gerrard

The theme for the next episode of Rodney Anonymous Tells You How To Live is "Demons of the Prairie". We'll be leaning a little more into Darkwave, Cold Wave, Goth, Goth Rock, and atmospheric music. Basically, if it howls or growls, we'll play it loud(ly)!
Please join us this Friday Night, May 3rd, at 9 PM Eastern on YNOT Radio.
