Yesterday I was telling a good friend that it's only February and, unless some surprise discovery happens over the year, I am pretty sure that with the excuse of the concert in June, she will be my most listened artist in 2024. Some #goth lore, the split of Sisters of Mercy was so acrimonious between Eldritch and Hussey that Eldritch speedly created and released an album called Gift under the band name Sisterhood, just so Hussey couldn't use it for his new band.
And yes, Eldritch loves the use of double meanings and knew what Gift means in German 💀
