People will make so much noise about seeking "dangerous ideas" but have that mean exclusively fixating on what's considered edgy/cool among a particular subculture or offensive/provocative to a certain demographic, and then living in utter ignorance of any arguments or ideas beyond those horizons.
They blast their opinions on social media without any expectation of being challenged.
They blame you for commenting on their social media comments, hurling profanity and insults until they block you in a fit like a child screaming no on repeat.
Whether it's #Morrissey, #PhilipLarkin or #MattHealy the amount white people will bend over backwards to forgive their favourite racists is extraordinary.
