It is against our beliefs to charge any monies for doing any spiritual healing works. If you meet folks who try to charge you monies for spiritual healing works - they're grifting charlatans. My peoples believe we go to demonic dungeons, if we ever charge monies to help people suffer less. We will accept foods. If we have to travel far to deliver our spiritual ceremonies services, we'd like to not be out of pocket for providing free spiritual healing services. We will sleep on your floor.
Whether you lay down one single grain of rice or 100 bricks of gold - you should not be given different treatment but equal humane treatment. Anyone who violates basic code of humanity, needs to work on themselves more & stop trying to buy a free ticket into humanity.
This is another one of our smaller #Buddha statues. We painted it gold. We have multiple Buddha statues of various sizes, all over our front & back gardens. We practice Taoism but also adopted a lot of Buddhist practices - they tend to interconnect with many crossovers.
Wishing you all more peace & quiet, beautiful & soul-filled moments in life 💗❤️💗
Age 30. At Coquitlam Town Centre.
On one of my part work/part leisure trips to Vancouver. I signed 2 work contracts on that trip😊
Back when my hair was jet black & hung down to my thighs. I wore it in half/full up-dos or in messy buns often back then.
Mom was 26 yrs old & I was 8 yrs old. In front of BC legislature. Wearing my fave red ruffle neck sweater vest, wide leg jeans; Mom let me wear her red lipstick that day. I'm unhappy about my mismatched Frankenstein orthotic boot - ppl used to stare at/make fun of them/me. It took years for me to be able to wear regular, matching boots.
#Expo86 in #VancouverBC
Mom was 29 yrs old, brother Jerry was 8 yrs old. In a cyclo, at the #Singapore exhibition. Our very first family holidays trip, a ferry ride over. We stayed in a motel & had fancy dimsum for first times on this short trip. We had lots of fun at Expo86. The monorail rides were my fave.

2nd Auntie & my #Matriarch Grandma, visiting Dad's family home. Last photo taken of them, until late 1980s(Mom returned to visit village home). I take after my Matriarch Grandma a lot.
Dad's family home only exists in photos now.
US bombed it & nothing remains.
1978 - Me, my brothers & cousins at #Bidong Island, #Malaysia#RefugeesCamp before we were transferred to #Galang refugees camp in Indonesia, in early 1979. One cousin, Bill, was born at Indonesian camp & was in my Aunt's belly at time this photo was taken.
Cutting & chopping propagated #GreenOnions to use with Teochew beef & meatball soup. We have 2 jars on our kitchen windowsill that we harvest from. We grow them outdoors too.
#MarleneDietrich#Asian#Revolutionary emulated #portrait shot by my fellow photographer friend, Jamidi. I only allowed Jam & 1 other photographer pal to take portraits of me. Shot at Jam's home in #VictoriaBC, 10 yrs ago. I just have longer hair & few extra face wrinkles now. Still have my 'fuck the system' & 'fuck colonialism' stances.
Cultural, honouring our ancestors ceremonies with family today. Getting to spend more time with baby nephew too.
I'm back at osteoporosis specialist tomorrow morning👍
Our indoor & outdoor family, cultural ancestors & Taoist gods altars for ceremonies at home.
We did ceremonies today - to honour recent March equinox & prepare for early April's #QingMingJie aka #Chinese Memorial Day/Tomb Sweeping Day/All Souls Day.
Tonight, I made the family Chinese cabbage soup, with lean chicken, fish balls, lobster balls & green onions. We eat with steamed basmati rice. Basmati is better for Mom than other rices due to lower GI score - she can only have rice in small amounts now. I'm trying to get her Type 2 diabetes management under control & customized diet helps Mom a lot.
Yesterday had restored some of my spiritual energy & faith in humanity. However, I'm still very fatigued with low energy & my sleep pattern hasn't stabilized yet so still recovering & listening to messages from my body. I'm only attending 1 protest action organizing meeting outdoors, today. Resting/sleeping for rest of the day with phone turned off & earplugs in.
