I was really pleased with how some of these production shots turned out. The lighting design was especially hard because the use of #motif in the music was unusual. I spent a long time with the director to really work on the storytelling. #LightingDesign#Music#opera#FrankenstienTLOpera#TheatreLife#DramaSchool#opera

It might have gotten slightly bigger over the years, because I know it was only 16 by 16 in the early 90s.
P.S. For the record, I think the default MacOS pointer shape circa 1984 is just groovy. I've seen and tried many different shapes, and keep coming back to something close to it. I also do like the 45° slanted cursors I've seen in some places, like #GEOS for DOS and mayyyybe some #Motif apps??
Are there any usability studies out there about the design of older operating systems or GUIs for the likes of OS/2, Irix, CDE, NextSTEP?
You can still see many concepts from that era today but some things have been dropped, others added, some have evolved, while others were simply unique. I’ve seen studies for Win95, where decisions behind taskbar and windowing are explained. Is there anything like that for other OS?
