Day 15 of fluffy advent, and I'm sitting wondering why I added reindeer antlers to something that already had horns and thinking that I should probably not pull on that thread...
1973 the first digital art contest was going on between Richard "Dick" Shoup and Damon Rarey at the SuperPaint computer system. While Damon was ahead in the competition, in the aftermath all graphic designer have won.
This is a tribute to them and what their achievements made possible for all of us. Needles to mention again that vector designs and layouts are made in #SVG with @inkscape, isn't it?
Just read that a streaming service in Russia has changed My Little Pony to “adult audiences” because of their LGBTQ+ propaganda laws, so apologies for my brief break from festive pet wholesomeness to post a huge FFS about that.
Oh, and this, which immediately popped into my head, and some things are definitely better to just get out of there.
coucou :mastodon: question pour essayer d'aider une collègue accro à Adobe : ça existe toujours le mod pour Gimp pour lui faire une interface Photoshop ?
Je ne trouve qu'un vieux truc plus à jour depuis 2006 ...
Clusters of phalaenopsis orchids shine like brightly-dressed people at an 80s cocktail party, bathed in a neon glow, their festive mood sparkling like champagne bubbles in the air.
Day 2 of the Fluffy Advent, and I was wondering why I didn't put this at day 3 as there are 3 of them, then realised I was probably wise not to go that route because if I'd started like that I would have ended up carrying on until the 24th and that would have been 300 creatures and that way madness lies.
Anyhoo. Three fluffsters for day two. Because why not?
Well, I just placed orders for boards and parts to build a new Lisa 2/5 around my existing Lisa CPU card, the only part of a Lisa I’ve ever owned.
I would never have thought this was possible if it weren’t for the work of @DosFox who recently built the first new Lisa since 1986! Thanks for the inspiration!
I’ll continue this thread as parts roll in. I may ask (beg) if folks have some parts in your bins! 😀
Here are some scans converted to GIF images. You can see that it does indeed scan as a grayscale image (if you save the ThunderScan format). Fun fact: #Photoshop 1.0 supports the #ThunderScan format!
